Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in Alpharetta with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in Georgia may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 7 amβ10 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Well, like the previous person who took the time to comment on the spiraling of the food bar while the pricing remains high, I live about 5 min away(walking) and have been coming here since the beginning, when they had staff that gave a hoot what they served, I I also travel nationwide and have the privilege of going to wholefoods in various states, the avalon location has turned my stomach on a few visits now with poor upkeep and the minimal options being served. I visted 3pm on a Wednesday. I understand that its hard to hire the right people, chef and kitchen staff, however, could management please revisit the quality of who you're hiring? I know whole foods can do better with the hot food options making it similar with the price per ounce. I believe in you leadership! Overall, the staff is kind and helpful around the store.

I remember when Avalon opened and I didnt particularly like this whole foods but Ive noticed some small changes with their prepared foods and staff since I stopped going in 2018. I went in since we were visiting the area and wanted to see if they had Vegan pizza ingredients to make two togo. Thankfully they did and they pizzas were amazing !! We wanted to come back but second time the following week they didnt have the cheese which is cool , the young man on the phone was so kind and apologized they didnt have everything. I would come back just for the hot bar and prepared foods , cant speak too much about anything else but overall love the changes.

I wonβt give one star because this Whole Foods is generally ok. However the food bar has been going downhill lately and today was just pathetic. Roughly 1/3 if the food bar trays were sitting empty as shown in the photos. At 1215 on a Friday. Just sad. Itβs like no one even cares.

I went to Whole Foods, hungry and keen, Looking for something fresh and clean. But oh! The schedule said, βNot today,β Yet Paul appeared and saved the day! He whisked and chopped with care and cheer, Made me a sandwich, right then and there! Out of his way he went with grace, A big kind smile upon his face. Now Iβll tell all, both near and far, That service like this, sets the bar! Paul made me feel like royalty fed, With heart, with care, and warm baked bread! Thanks to Paul from Prepared Foods!!!
